Kusina Kings Movie stars Zanjoe Marudo and Empoy Marquez as two best friends since high school. However, their love for cooking and restaurant business will test their friendship. Produced by Star Cinema, this comedy movie is directed by Victor Villanueva.
Kusina Kings Movie Plot Summary
In this movie, Zanjoe Marudo plays Ronnie and Empoy Marquez as Benjie and are best of friends since high school, and although they seemingly have opposite personalities.
Both of them love to cook but Benjie is more passionate and persistent about it. Shortly, the decision to put up a restaurant called La Luna Sa Hungry, with Benjie as the chef. However, they find it hard to attract customers and the business is failing.
Benjie joined the Kusina King competition against his business rival Gian Nyeam (Ryan Bang) who offered him P3 million if he wins but will take his restaurant if he loses. However, an accident led Benjie to be in a coma. Fortunately, Benjie’s spirit guides Ronnie in the cooking contest. As a subplot, Ronnie has a huge crush on Jenny (Nathalie Hart), Benjie’s sister, while Benjie has a love interest, Baby Girl (Maxine Medina).
