Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles Movie stars Coco Martin, Vic Sotto, and Maine Mendoza. Produced by APT Entertainment, CCM Film Productions, and M-Zet Productions and directed by Mike Tuviera, this Pinoy comedy film is an official entry to the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival and received the Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award for Excellence.
Jack Em Popoy: The Puliscredibles Movie Plot Summary
In this movie, Coco Martin plays the newly promoted cop Police S/Insp. Jacinto “Jack” Halimuyac. On the other hand, Vic Sotto plays veteran cop SPO3 Perfecto “Popoy” Fernandez, while Maine Mendoza plays PO1 Emily “Em” Fernandez, Popoy’s adopted daughter.
The three of them work in the same police department led by Police S/Supt. Arturo Punongbayan (Tirso Cruz III).
Despite the fact that Jack was abandoned by his father, he grew up to be a dedicated cop. At one point, he had to join a contest at Eat Bulaga, which was incidentally the toughest competitor of his mother network, ABS-CBN.
The trio was assigned to eliminate a drug syndicate family led by Antonio Montenegro (Ronaldo Valdez). During the process, Coco Martin and Maine Mendoza have somehow established a love team.
