Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After (The Ungasis and Escaleras Adventure) is a 2008 Philippine comedy movie with the comic trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.
“Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After” is directed by Tony Y. Reyes and co-produced by OctoArts Films, M-Zet Films, and APT Entertainment. It is the third movie in the Iskul Bukol franchise.
Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After Movie Plot
In the movie “Iskul Bukol,” the comedy trio of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon reprise their roles in the popular TV show “Iskul Bukol.” Twenty years after they have graduated from Wanbol University, Vic Ungasis (Vic Sotto), an archaeologist, returns to the Philippines and reunites with brothers Joselito Escalera (Tito Sotto) and Josemari Escalera (Joey De Leon) who are now real-estate developers.
After Vic Ungasis recovers the Kali of Humabon he is looking for its partner sword, the Kampilan of Lapu-Lapu, and the Peseta – one of Judas Iscariot’s 30 pieces of silver which are said to give immortality to its bearer. But they must contend with a Yakuza, who has acquired the Kampilan wants to fuse it with the Peseta to give the sword superpowers.
Crisanto and Bador have not seen each other for a long time but Desta (Anita Linda) serves as their communication. One night, Bador visited Crisanto and requested him to protect his smuggled goods in Tondo but the latter declined. Later, a syndicate planned to control Tondo and Cavite with their illegal activities, and misinformation was brought to Crisanto and Bador. This led to them becoming bitter enemies.
