Darna Kuno Movie stars Comedy King Dolphy as the man who became Darna after the real Darna became pregnant and cannot perform her duties as a superhero.
Produced by Regal Films and directed by Luciano B. Carlos, this action parody comedy film is the first and only Darna movie where two actresses and one actor played Darna.
Darna Kuno Movie Plot Summary
At the start of the movie, tricycle driver Dondon (Dolphy) sends Annabelle (Lotis Key) to her home. They seem to like each other but Annabelle’s mother and sister (Marissa Delgado) don’t want him for her.
One night, a group of robbers ransacked his house and took all the coins he kept for their future, and even beat him before they left. Shortly, Darna (Brenda Del Rio) appeared and told her that she is willing to lend her powers to him.
According to Darna, she was impregnated by Japanese anime robots Voltes V and Mazinger Z. Darna taught Dondon how to become Darna, as well as the important rules he should follow.
He then swallowed Darna’s magic stone and shouted, “Darna Kuno” and he became the male Darna and fought some evil creatures. Later, Annabelle discovers his secret and stole the magic stone from him, and she became Darna too.
