At the start of the movie, Daniel Santos (Phillip Salvador) has just been released from prison and plans to start a new life.
On his way home, Mateo (Mat Ranillo III) and his men invited him to join their bank robbery group again but he refused. On the other hand, Estong (Vic Sotto) is a poor father and is just living with his cousin.
Desperate for money for the treatment of his blind daughter, Estong planned to rob a bank. Incidentally, Daniel was also there to cash a check. But just before Estong was able to get his gun, a group of armed men entered the bank and has the same plan. Estong drew his gun and grenade, and the bank robbers left. When the cops arrived, Estong held Daniel as his hostage, and this was the start of their friendship.
