The Epimaco Velasco Story NBI is an action-political-drama film produced by Viva Films, in collaboration with FLT Films International, and directed by Edgardo ‘Boy’ Vinarao. The movie features the life story of the late Epimaco Velasco, the then-director of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), portrayed by Fernando Poe Jr.
Here, FPJ showcases the humble beginnings of Velasco, from being a janitor while studying law, until he became the NBI director. The movie is packed with FPJ action, but probably the two most important scenes are the arrest of The Big Four, and the killing of Leonardo Manecio aka Nardong Putik.
