At the start of the movie, Dante saw a shoplifter and noticed that she secretly placed the stolen jewelry inside Cristy’s bag, and confronted Cristy. And because it’s his first day of work, he did not know that she was the store owner. But even if Cristy fired him from his job, Dante still saved her from kidnappers. For this reason, Cristy’s father hired him as a bodyguard for her.
