Pusakal stars Cesar Montano and Rosanna Roces. Produced by Solar Films and directed by Toto Natividad, this action drama film is about a bank robber and a hardened criminal who is temporarily being released from jail in exchange to commit crimes outside of a syndicate.
Pusakal Movie Plot Summary
At the start of the movie, Ram Rustia (Cesar Montano) and several others robbed a bank but he was arrested after a heavy gun shooting with the cops. Rustia has a wife Stephanie (Rosanna Roces) and a young daughter who has a brain tumor.
He told Stephanie to get his money from fellow robber Marco (Roldan Aquino) but the latter has already escaped, and Ram was given a life sentence at the New Bililid Prison (NBP).
Shortly, Ram and Stephanie’s daughter died without having the proper medication. Inside the jail, Ram encountered some troubles and has killed some fellow inmates. Meanwhile, a drug syndicate led by Lt Morgan (Dennis Roldan) is being protected by a corrupt congressman. Later, cops temporarily release Ram but in exchange to commit a crime for the syndicate. But how far can he go as a hardened criminal?
