Pepeng Kuryente is a 1988 Filipino action-fantasy film starring father and son Ramon Revilla Sr and Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr.
The film is one of the first films of the younger Revilla and one of the most famous films of Revilla Sr along with Nardong Putik and Joaquin Bordado.
Pepeng Kuryente Summary
A family of four was living happily when gangsters murdered the couple living the siblings orphaned. During the interrogation of the criminals, the son steals a gun from the police and shoots the criminals. The son was imprisoned for 15 years.
While in prison, another inmate told him about the story of an amulet from the lightning. Upon leaving the prison, the son tried his best to get the amulet, and later he was successful. He used the amulet to fight against bad people.
