Mistah Movie is an action war film starring Robin Padilla as Sgt. Mario Cariño, a tough member of Army Scout Rangers.
Produced by Viva Films and directed by Bebong Osorio, this blockbuster Robin Padilla showcases the battle of government forces against Muslim rebels in Mindanao and the sacrifices of Filipino soldiers.
Mistah Movie Plot
At the start of the movie, Cariño and other members of Army Scout Rangers led by Lt. Duterte (Roi Vinzon) encountered a group of Muslim rebels. But because they were outnumbered, some of the soldiers were killed so they decided to retreat.
While at the market, he met the beautiful storekeeper Linda (Ana Roces) and immediately had a huge crush on her.
Basically, Muslim rebels accuse Christians of violating their rights and insist that they were the first people there. However, some of them harass villages and steal the belonging of Christians. Nevertheless, brave soldiers are always willing to risk their lives to perform their duty. At the end of the movie, Mario spoke strong statements leading to the conclusion that nobody wins in a war.
