Marami Ka Pang Kakaining Bigas is a comedy-action film directed by Jun Aristorenas written by Amado Lacuesta starring Eddie Garcia, Bb Gandanghari, and Gloria Diaz. The movie is produced by Viva Films. They also made a song for the movie with the same title sung by the director himself.
Marami Ka Pang Kakaining Bigas Plot Summary
Eddie Garcia starred as Tikoy, a seasoned police officer armed with years of experience. He and his partner were trying to capture a group of criminals while they’re doing their illegal business.
Unfortunately, his partner died after he tried to stop a running car. After what happened, Tikoy proceeds with his normal life; he was loved in the streets and they were willing to give him free things like food, cigarette, or gas. He was also a womanizer, he had many girls of different ages. These girls don’t mind the age gap between them and Tikoy.
Since Tikoy’s partner died, he was partnered with Jun (Bb Gandang Hari/Rustom Padilla) an idealistic cop fresh from Academy and was top of his class. They accidentally met in a canteen where Jun tried to chase after a thief while Tikoy didn’t bother to act. Jun didn’t accept it at first, he judged Tikoy as an irresponsible cop who took bribes.
Tikoy proved many times that he was a streetwise cop; while Jun is a by-the-book type of cop, Tikoy knew where the criminal’s escape routes are and how to catch them by not chasing after them.
They realized that a group of cops are part of a syndicate but they don’t know who are they. They hid first in one of Tikoy’s girls and then in Jun’s girlfriend. Jun called his chief (Zandro Zamora) and also realized that he might be one of the syndicates, so they tried to escape.
They change place location after location, trying to hide. Their last resort was in Jun’s house where Tikoy met Azon (Gloria Diaz). She was Tikoy’s darling back in the day. His guts tell him that he was Jun’s father. Azon got shot during an ambush and was rush to the hospital. Tikoy must protect his son at all costs while trying to hide from a police/syndicate.
