Mabangis na Lungsod, also known as No Hai Wai Lung, features both Filipino and Chinese action stars such as Monsour Del Rosario, Biao Yuen, and Cynthia Khan.
First released in China in 1995 and later in the Philippines in 1996, this action-packed movie is produced by Wai Shing Chung and Lam Wai and directed by Alan Chung San Chui and Bun Yuen.
Mabangis Na Lungsod Movie Plot
Driven to infiltrate and destroy a syndicate involving money counterfeiting, Captain Yiang played by Cynthia Khan and Inspector Tony Li played by Biao Yuen worked undercover as a couple that eventually became a valuable asset to the said group as they were successful in fulfilling the tasks given to them.
However, the situation becomes complicated when Captain Santos (Monsour Del Rosario), who was assisting them in their mission, was killed in an operation that Inspector Tony was forced to be involved with. Nonetheless, the couple continued their mission as Inspector Tony finally met the big boss of the syndicate.
The undercover work of Captain Yiang and Inspector Tony was almost blown when one of the members of the syndicate recognized Tony as a policeman. They were then saved by Captain Santos who actually survived and continued to assist them until they successfully obliterated the counterfeiting syndicate.
