Gandarrapiddo The Revenger Squad Movie stars Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla, and Miss Universe 2015 winner Pia Wurtzbach Produced by Star Cinema and directed by Joyce Bernal, this action-comedy fantasy blockbuster film is an official entry to the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival and became the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, with a total of P571 million gross in the local box office, beating another Vice Ganda movie, ‘The Super Parental Guardians.’
Gandarrapiddo The Revenger Squad Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Vice Ganda plays Emerson “Emy” Mariposque, a low-cost makeup reseller and cleaning rag maker who lives in an old house with his younger brother, Chino (Daniel Padilla), who is known for being a bad boy with a heart. On the other hand, Pia Wurtzbach plays Cassandra “Cassey” Mariposque, an orphan who became a fashion designer and an international model. All of them were superheroes in their past.
Apparently, Emy had a memory loss and forgets that he is Gandarra, a superhero who gets his superpower by from a bertud from lipstick he uses to become his alter ego. Also from their past, Chino is Rappido who possesses superhuman strength and supersonic speed, while Cassey is Kweenie who possesses hypnosis ability known as “smizenopsis”, has knowledge in advanced technology, and possesses combat skills.
