Batang Quiapo Movie is the first and only team-up movie of Fernando Poe Jr. and Diamond Star Maricel Soriano.
Produced by Regal Films and directed by Pablo Santiago, this super blockbuster action-comedy movie featured FPJ-Maricel Soriano duet, where FPJ sings “Doon Lang” by Noynoy Zuniga, while Maricel sang Zsa Zsa Padilla’s “Kahit Na.”
Batang Quiapo Movie Plot
In this movie, FPJ plays Baldo (Baldomero Dimagiba), a former pickpocket kingpin in Quiapo, and has just been released from jail. On the other hand, Maria (Maricel) is a rookie in pickpocketing.
The two first met when Maria and her partner-in-crime (Rez Cortez) tried to steal FPJ’s wallet but failed. This started the fun and action of their extraordinary tandem.
