Astigmatism is an action and drama movie that was produced in 2004. The film was written and directed by Jon Red. Robin Padilla who plays Bien is the main character in the movie.
Bien is, however, supported by others such as Albert Martinez, Jeffrey Quizon, and Francis Magalona. Astigmatism received the silver DV award in 2004 during the Hong Kong International Film Festival.
Astigmatism Plot
The movie mainly revolves around Bien, (Robin Padilla).In the movie, Bien is an assassin who is suffering from a condition called astigmatism. Astigmatism is a condition that causes blurred vision, and it is mainly caused by deformities of the cornea.
While playing the role of the assassin, Bien harms two victims namely Francis Magalona and Jeffrey Quizon. Bien is, however, treated by Albert Martinez who serves as the doctor.
Besides that, Bien serves two roles and that is the assassin as well as the camera operator capturing his murderous life. Astigmatism is a great film that illustrates how a character can dual role in production while delivering the message to the targeted audience.
