Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum is the first team-up movie of Robin Padilla and Vina Morales. Produced by Viva Films and directed by Deo J. Fajardo Jr. this blockbuster Robin-Vina movie has a sequel entitled Miss Na Miss Kita Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum 2, released the following year.
In this movie, Robin plays a hoodlum in Baguio City named Ben while Vina plays Bing, a young lady and a daughter of a rich haciendero (Dante Rivero). But despite being involved in extortion, Ben loves to have a kind heart for the poor, the children, and the elderly. The two first met in a park when Bing accidentally hit him with her bicycle.
And although Ben wanted to leave the syndicate and change his path, he could not do it. Later, syndicate members kidnapped his elderly friends, and in exchange for them, Ben should also kidnap Bing and her brother. Having no choice, Ben abducted Bing and gave them to the syndicate. Nevertheless, Ben has another plan to save them all.
