The Ang Probinsyano movie Part 1 stars Fernando Poe Jr., who also produced and directed the film, using the name Ronwaldo Reyes. Released in 1997, FPJ plays a dual role as twin cops – Ador de Leon (a city cop) and Kardo de Leon (a provincial cop).
Ang Probinsyano Movie Part 1 Summary
At the start of the movie, Ador was betrayed by his fellow police officer and was killed in a drug bust operation.
To help find the mastermind responsible for the killing, Ador’s superior made it appear that Ador was still alive and Kardo assumed his role. A sequel entitled Pagbabalik ng Probinsyano was released in 1998.
