Darna at Ding Movie stars Vilma Santos and Niño Muhlach, with Vilma playing the role of Darna, a woman with superpowers, a fictional character created by Mars Ravelo.
Produced by D’Wonder Films and directed by J Erastheo Navoa and Cloyd Robinson, this is the fourth and last Darna movie of Vilma Santos.
Darna at Ding Movie Plot Summary
In the movie, Vilma Santos plays Narda, who has a naughty but smart kid brother Ding (Niño Muhlach). One day, Ding left their house for the fear of his uncle Ambo (Panchito) after he put pepper on his coffee.
That night, while looking for Ding in the forest, Narda saw a shiny stone from the skies and fell towards her. When she went to look at it, a voice said that she has been chosen to be the savior against evil forces.
Narda was told to swallow the stone and shout the name “Darna,” which is printed on it. When Narda did it, she transformed into Darna, wearing her iconic costume. Ding rode on her back and Darna flew with him. Now, Darna is set to face Dr. Vontesberg (Marissa Delgado), Babaing Lawin (Veronica Jones), Giant (Max Alvarado), and Lei Ming (Celia Rodriguez).
